Has co-starred with Charlie Sheen in 3 films: Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), Hot Shots! (1991), and The Chase (1994). Was the original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" before Sarah Michelle Gellar. Appears nude in the November 2002 issue of Playboy. More recently, Swanson appeared in and won the 2006 FOX television program Skating with Celebrities, partnered with Lloyd Eisler. After meeting on Skating with Celebrities, Swanson is rumoured to be dating Eisler. The pair were together in Kingston, Ontario in February 2006 to promote and host the annual FebFest event
